At from charlie, we think of ourselves as more than caterers—we’re your co-hosts. The kind who greet your guests with a warm smile, offer them a drink, and make sure everything flows smoothly from the first canapé to the final bite of dessert. We believe a great dinner party is about more than just the food—it’s the ambiance, the company, and the effortless rhythm of a night well spent.
Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a celebratory feast, we’re here to create a dining experience that feels personal, generous, and completely you.
What to Expect
We like to begin the evening with a casual welcome—canapés passed as guests arrive, drinks flowing from the bar, a hum of conversation as the room fills. For the main course, we lean toward family-style service—there’s something special about guests passing platters, sharing bites, and leaning in across the table. But if a plated presentation better suits your evening, we’re happy to accommodate that too.
All of our protein and produce are locally and sustainably sourced. Every menu is built around what’s in season here in BC, so the food on your table reflects the time of year and the place we’re proud to call home.
Desserts are also served family-style—so everyone can choose their own cake slice, so to speak—and linger in the sweetness of the sobremesa. All the while, we’ve tidied your kitchen, whisked away the dirties, and made our quiet escape. We hate rushed endings.

Do I need to set anything up?
Only if you want to. We're happy to provide a curated tablescape that elevates your evening with thoughtful, unique style. Or, if you prefer to set the scene yourself, we’ll simply bring the tableware—platters, plates, cutlery, and glasses—and take it all away when we go. No mess, no cleanup, just a full heart and a clear counter.
What’s the timeline?
We work with the natural flow of your event, but generally: canapés and cocktails on arrival, a family-style main course (or plated, if preferred), and dessert to share. We're currently booking primarily for weekend events.
What am I drinking?
You provide the alcohol, we’ll take it from there. Whether you want to select your own wine or prefer a recommendation, we’re happy to help. We also craft custom non-alcoholic cocktails that pair beautifully with the meal and bring a little extra joy to the table.
How much does it cost?
Our menus are seasonal and locally sourced, so pricing can vary—but we aim for around $75 per person. Cocktails and wine are additional.
What about music?
We’re happy to curate a custom playlist that fits the mood—or even suggest live musicians if you’re after something a little more special. Just let us know what you’re imagining.
